Job Title: Sr. MUMPS Engineer Job Profession: Computer Engineering and Information Technology -> Software Design/Development Job Category: MIS - Info Tech / TelecommunicationsReq ID: 210412Able to obtain security clearance?--ADP2 / IT2Currently possess security clearance?--ADP2 / IT2Location: Falls Church, VA% Travel: 10Relocation: NoRequirements: The Health Solutions Business Unit is seeking a Senior MUMPS Developer in the Skyline area of Falls Church, VA.The Sr. MUMPS Developer will be responsible for software life cycle activities related to all MUMPS code in support of the program. These activities include requirements analysis, design, development, test, and documentation of code, application interfaces, and integration within the overall solution. The Sr. MUMPS Developer will be expected to participate in the detailed system design to include: development of detailed data and process models, program specifications, interface specifications, screen and report designs, and program control specifications. This will include assisting in developing detailed system architectures documentation to include: system schematics, process flow diagrams, and key interfaces. The position will also be responsible for the development, test, and deployment of quality MUMPS code in the assigned functional area (e.g., laboratory, radiology, registration, etc.) that passes both internal review, XINDEX validation, and is compliant with interface and integration standards.Required Education/Skills:- 7+ years experience in M (MUMPS) programming- B.S. in Computer Science or have equivalent work experience- Experience/knowledge of Veterans Administration (VA) VistA- Extensive experience in the Laboratory, Pharmacy, and/or Radiology packages- Experience/knowledge of VA Fileman and other software development tools- Experience/knowledge working with KIDS builds and host file transfers- Experience/knowledge of Health Level Seven (HL7) messaging protocol- Current/Active background investigation/security clearance (ADP II or higher)Desired Skills:- Healthcare IT background a plus- Experience with Rational Tools - Clear Quest, Clear Case a plus Desired Attributes Profession: Computer Engineering and Information Technology -> Software Design/Development Application Types: Application development tools System Architecture/Platform: Client/Server systems Level of Experience: Individual contributor Industry: IT/Technology/Electronics
